"they do not post or say that they’re not accepting clothes. drove an hour to get there, looked at their website and instagram beforehand to check their hours, just to get there and see a sign on the door that they’re not accepting clothes this whole weekend due to their clearance sale. would’ve been fine if they’d posted that anywhere at all and saved me a trip."

"Every time I show up at this place it’s closed. Even when I look online before hand. Even the door has the same hours listed on google and Facebook. Please update this to reflect your real open time. The staff are already snobby as it is, now I’m wasting an hour one way to try and go to the store. I’m guessing this is the reason you can’t post a review on FB."

"This was the worst experience i’ve ever had. I spent over 200 on gas in order to drive here multiple times and all the times they were either closed without mentioning on the website or not excepting clothes. None of this information was disclosed on the website. And when we asked about it when in the store the girls were rude disrespectful and very judgmental. If I could give 0 stars I would. Overall my experience was disgusting and distasteful. I will never be returning to this store ever again and I hope you read this and don’t go there ever. because it’s a waste of time and effort and money. Even when putting my valuable clothes in their hand they gave me little to know money and judged my bag. I’m so mad I want to scream. Upon entering the store the girl looked me up and down and whispered to her co worker and said “that’s one ugly *****. I left the store with tears in my eyes feeling insecure and upset . This is one of the reasons I had to i list myself into a mental hospital. I’m currently in said mental hospital crying and reliving thsi experience in painful details."

"horrible time selling clothes. the girls were so rude to me. they tried taking my brand new lululemon leggings for $8. they were going through my clothes saying “ew that’s so ugly”. they told me they had overstock on clothes but on the instagram they posted it stated what they needed and I brought it. one girl was throwing my shirt up and the air and goofing off. I will never go back to Portsmouth’s plato’s closet. I spent over an hour in driving to get $10?!"

"Super picky when you try to sell clothes. I have to drive 30 mins to get there and I always made sure to call and make sure they accept donations. I brought them in and they stopped accepting because they were full on clothes and that could possibly change within 30 minutes?! Next time I came which was just now, I called them again and brought a huge shopping bag to sell my clothing. Told them the last bad experience and they said that it seems good to go in and donate them. So I did and when I arrived, I told them that bag was for donations and they said that they don’t accept clothing for the last hour of their closing time?! Could have atleast told me that on the phone. They have nice clothes but just donate them to goodwill and not have to deal with this. Super picky and would only make a couple of dollars from selling. Bad customer service."
