"I have dealt with this bike store for 3 years. My first impression was really positive, 2 and 3 years ago. I have a TREK Full Stache and it needed some servicing and one time I had to get a wheel trued. The service techs were on it and great. Come 2023 and I ordered for my wife a new 2023 Trek Fuel Exe 9.9 XTR - a $13,000 bike! We were at the mercy of Trek as far as when or how long the bike would take to ship which was several months. During this time the ship date got pushed out twice by TREK and the store did not contact me to inform me of this. I went there on 2 occasions to check in (we had placed a $7,000 deposit so were anxious/curious) and the staff had no idea and had to check into the system at my request to find out about each change in shipping schedule. Eventually, I called another TREK dealer/retail store in the area (Nashua, NH) to enquire about what Fuel EXE's were available and they gave me the scoop: if I changed the model to a different color, it could be shipped in less than a week. I went back to Colonial and they confirmed that this was true. After making this small change we got confirmation that the bike would be shipped. Fast forward to arrival date. No phone call, no text... nothing. I happened to drive by on my way home one day and decided to check in, and found OUR bike sitting there assembled ready to go. I understand that this is one of the most expensive, high profile bikes that store has sold, ever. I called my wife and we met at the store and had to twist their arm to just get the saddle adjusted, but no bike fitting was offered. Each question we had, was met with "I don't know" or "we will have to check into that" and basically what they as a store could not do, rather that what they could do to make this a seamless, pleasant experience. It seemed clear that they were unfamiliar with the new technology of the bike and were too busy to find out and help us. Any subsequent visit I have made to the store has reinforced this attitude of "cover our A&&", and I can't wait to go to my old TREK store in South Tampa. Colonial is a dead zone as far as we are concerned."
"The bicycle we bought is high quality and perfectly suited for our 6 year old granddaughter. Colonial also had sufficient choices available, and attached training wheels, which were needed. Andy, the salesman who dealt with us, was fabulous, very informative, thorough, and took lots of initiative to accommodate our granddaughter's needs regarding a new two wheel bike. He's a kind, competent person who was representing Colonial Bicycle. We'll gladly return when we're ready to purchase an e-bike next Spring."
"Needed spoke and wheel repair day before a trip they were able to turn it around with an hour even though they were super busy. Great mechanics nice people."
"Customer service is outstanding. Brian oversaw my bike repair; he was terrific and so helpful. THANK YOU!"
"Great experience. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Took the time to explain the bikes, my choices, and they were able to accommodate my price point. As a new road bike rider all their help was amazing. They even took the time to help me with things like understanding the shifters once my bike arrived. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get any type of bike!"
