Reviews
"Unfriendly employees, loudly yelled "closing time" as soon as I walked in, despite it being twenty minutes from closing time."
"Great, it's a convenience store closer to Brandies but that doesn't mean that you'd gouge the customers. Bought two items and they both were priced at least $3 above what other supermarket would have rated the same items for. Keeping price little bit high is okay but they have outrageously high prices. Might as well name it as gouging market than village market. Just for little convenience of being closer to uni."
"The employees are super friendly! They always have what I'm looking for!!"
"This going to be a little long and i never take the time to do these but i just had to for this business . Idk any of the guys name but there’s an older skinny guy and he’s REALLLLLY RUDE. I just moved to Waltham in February and i was happy i had a convenience store nearby cause there’s no other store around. The first time i went in there he was very dismissive , short responses , irritated tone . I asked him for something behind the counter and the one he gave me was no good so I asked him if i could switch it , he turns around, grabs a different one then slams it on the counter , then i asked him for something seperate and he slammed that too. I asked him if there was a problem and asked why is he being rude and slamming things at me ?? He said i don’t have to come to his store and so i said i wouldn’t then. I did go back a couple weeks later this time with my partner and he was different , wasn’t rude so then i began coming back . The times i came back and he wasn’t rude are the times he wasn’t there or he had a co worker present . But today i went there for a product behind the counter and once again it was no good so i asked for a different one and the only one he had left was $1 extra . I told him i’ll pay the difference because it was fresher . I had no cash and only card and he said That i must pay $5 minimum on my card . I just paid for the other one that was no good and the exchange was just a $1 difference so it didn’t seem fair to me that i had to pay $4 more dollars just to be able to pay the $1 difference . So then he just tells me not to come to the store .. Why? Because i don’t want your spoiled product and refused to pay an additional $5 for a $1 difference? He complained that he’s not the one who “made the product” .. Well duh . But you’re selling it …. You can send it back to manufacture and get credit for their spoiled product but that’s not my fault either . So i was banned because i was unsatisfied with a spoiled product and unsatisfied with the owners response . This guy is very miserable and like i read in a past review, he has something against black people . He’s very nice to his non black customers i’ve noticed with my own eyes . Stay away from this short tempered miserable man, he wants only your money but doesn’t want to provide customer service . If you request customer service , which you shouldn’t have to, he will ban you instead ."
