Great variety in household, grocery and day to day pharma. Nothing beats Market Basket in item variety and overall pricing. They have also been able to weather inflation far more than others on their own brands as well as others. If you find walking a chore, the 70 bus marked Market Place Drive drops you directly there from different stops alongside the route. Amenities: 1- Market Kitchen - their cafeteria makes fresh and cost effective foods. You can order in advance which is good because depending on the time of the day it can be quite busy like lunch time. Most foods on the grill are freshly prepped. The steak bomb, cheese burger and hot dog are great starts. 2- MB Wine & Spirits - a spirits shop nearby that does tasting every now and then 3- Bottle/Can crushing on site. 4) Reasonable sitting space to enjoy your meals and benches outside the building for people waiting for their bus. Tips: a) Market Kitchen - Stay away from dinners as they aren't freshly prepared and sometimes rice and veggies can taste dated because they have been lying around. Additionally avoid evening pickups as the food may not be rotated as regularly. Check the timing of the kitchen before going because on Sunday it closes an hour earlier. b) Their fruit section is competitive but sometimes other stores launch deals which can be cheaper. c) Their fresh rotisserie chicken is good but not great and the taste degrades significantly when refrigerated. So if you are thinking of picking the frozen rotisserie for a few cents off, I would suggest do not."

"Market Basket is excellent on all food they sell. Like meats cur fresh there. They have plenty in stock. They carry all other products as well ( like Scottie facial tissue. Not found in other stores/phàrmaciesi. And GREATEST is you can shop, enough to fill your refrigerator, freezer, and pantry and not leave broke.. EXELLANT customer service."

"The Market Basket at 110 Market Place Dr., Waltham, MA is an excellent place to shop. Sales Associates are well versed about helping customers locate items throughout the store; store is well stocked & organized. Everyone is professionally friendly and all are helpful. Welcoming environment!"

"The staff does their best to assist you in any way they can. They get 5 stars. The store is often chaotic and very busy. I love their prices but don’t like the shopping experience. Maybe consider stocking shelves when the business isn’t open. I’d love to see self-check outs installed."

"This Market Basket is newer and in good condition. Like others it is almost always crowded. The prices are good and you can get specialty ethnic foods that are hard to find elsewhere. What is surprising about Market Basket is how good their prepared foods are. They actually make really good donuts. Today I got the papa rellena which I liked a lot. Their burger is also good and a great value. Downside is the quality of their meat, including the deli. But if that’s not important to you and you can tolerate a crowd, it’s worth the savings."
