"I also held off from writing this review till this morning as I have with this business and gave them a second chance to show me they really wanted to groom my two dogs and also want my business. I thought my dogs groomer was fantastic at first, I've taken my two small dogs there and I wait for them in the car first appt. My dogs are very well behaved and it's just a matter of shaving them down. I also compliment well and I tip very well. The first time I was going to move on and find another groomer was when my groomer started giving me the cold shoulder I felt upon booking two appointments for my dogs. I couldn't understand why! I went to another terrines far away from me where I once lived and she was a four cake saying my dog tried to nip her hand grooming her face. Not the case my dog is not that type of dog and I knew she was lying to me because of jealousy of my Jaguar and one of ly dogs being beautiful and accepted in Hollywood Animals. So I text this groomer back to see if she would take my dogs and if there was a problem to why she did not respond to my request to book an appt with my dogs to have them groomed. My groomer contacted me and said Oh' I've tried to contact you but I could not get ahold of you so I left a msg. Never got it, but I'm not going to fully blame her because my phone has been compromised for the last two years thanks to an ex wife who hacked into my phone and blocks my contacts. I explained this fully when I went there to drop off my dogs. Well I went now maybe two or three more times one right before Xmas with my two dogs. I thought all was well. But I also went back to give my groomer a gift from one of my dogs which was a calendar that my dog is featured in. Well, I felt I was given the cold shoulder once again. The owner looked at me walking in and as I looked up at few she put her head down. No hello, nothing. My groomer accepted the added gift without any happiness and I thought what did I do wrong now!! Trying to do something nice and I felt I should not have, so we walked out. This morning I'm trying to move my appts because my dog is grown out and to be honest I felt as I requested when I was there almost three weeks ago her face was not cut short as I asked. To leave her body just cut her face and feet as she suffers from yeast since a puppy. She also has chronic ears problems that I'm always at the vets for and have don't thousands on her over the last nine years. I'm a person who takes her dogs to the gets when they have just a sniffle so I'm a very responsible dog owner and even my vet has said this. So it's because of my dogs yeast problems or her chronic ear problems that they no longer want to groom her? They should be honest with me to tell me instead of being evasive or non responsive like this morning. It's sad because I felt my dogs were comfortable with this place and now as of this morning I ejected to find another groomer that I now have on board. Also if it has to do with how I spell my last name or being a openly gay woman to which I never said but people troll your f/b to watch your info and make judgement calls which is also unfair. I should of listen to a past friend when she took her dog there for years and she picked it up one day with a bandage on its lower paw because they could not get the nail to stop bleeding and they never called the owner to tell them until they picked up the dog she was livid. But I continued to want to give them a try and I did and I learned from my own experience. Sad..."
"First time here. Our dog Tilly had her first "spa" treatment! Afterall she's not yet 6 months, but she's also a 75 Lb St Bernard, and not many places take large breeds. They were able to bathe her, groom her, and trim her nails, which is a big effort since she hates it, without and trouble. We'll definitely be back!"
"I’ve held off on writing this review, but I have to warn people about what happened to my dog. The first time we booked with them, we let them know that our dog isn’t great with other dogs. They were very accommodating and understanding and said we should book early in the morning so there would be less dogs in and out while our dog was being groomed. That worked out well the first few times. This last time, however, while my husband was picking up our dog after her appointment, he was taking her to the car when an owner appeared with 2 dogs on leash and one off leash. The off leash dog charged at our dog and a fight broke out. It was now my dog against 3. My husband fell during the scuffle and had minor injuries, but my dog came home with superficial bite marks all over her face and neck that have now turned into permanent scars. I called the owner to make sure all three dogs were up to date on their vaccines, and she assured me they were and then told me the owner of the 3 dogs was actually an employee. She then told us that she also does not leash her own dog when bringing it into the business. We felt like since we told them our dog isn’t good with other dogs, she blamed us for the scuffle. This would not have happened if all the dogs were leashed, since there is a leash law in our city. We were not offered a refund on her grooming, and were also told we need to bring her in at 7am and wait in the parking lot for her for any further grooming. Again, making it seem like it was our fault. Leash laws are put in place for a reason, and if you are going to accept dogs that don’t do well with other animals, you should take that into consideration when bringing your own animals in the door. We will not be taking our dog back here. It’s unfortunate what happened, but I do not think it was handled correctly at all."
"By far THE best dog groomers I’ve ever been to! Great service, amazing results with both my animals every visit. Having two big dogs makes it difficult to find a good groomer - but we’ve been going to Bubbly Bow Wow for a few years now and could not be happier! Highly recommend! Thank you so much for all your hard work and we’ll be seeing you soon! - Kobe & Kyra"
