"The only reason I’m rating this place a 4 is due to the maintenance guys, William to be exact, other than that I would give this place 1 star at best. Out of all the guys William goes above and beyond to ensure he addresses every single work order in one visit, he even goes out of his way to fix other things he finds that need to be fixed and he always has a positive attitude…I’ve lived here for about 3 years and I wish I could say it’s been great so far but it has not."
"As great as the community and the people working for the community are, Avalon became greedy and gave us an unreal rent hike of 25%. The rent which was approx $3200 went upto $4000 in the quotation to renew the lease. Currently they have our apartment listed at $3300 on their website. The rent pricing is very unfair."
"My family and I have lived at Avalon at Lexington Hills for the past decade, and have recently renewed our lease for another year. From the spectacular forest setting, to the convenient access to tech companies in surrounding townships, and the world-class school system, we're very well accommodated by Avalon. One of the many conveniences of life at Avalon is the tireless efforts of the professional, courteous maintenance staff. Inevitably, after a relatively long time in one place, minor issues do occur. When that happens, we know that help will soon be at hand. I'll like to call out two of the maintenance staff who have delivered for us recently. Firstly, Rudis sorted out a minor issue with our three-way light switches, that saved us from trekking up and down the stairways unnecessarily. He diagnosed and fixed the issue, communicating what the problem was. He was focused on the task at-hand, rejecting a phone call in favor of completing the work. Secondly, and more recently, Victor quickly identified an issue with our oven that was resulting in inconsistent cooking results, and quickly effected repairs. Now, sadly, any inconsistencies can only be blamed on ourselves, but that's no reflection on Victor who was professional, understanding, and friendly, as always."

"While my apt has had maintenance issues Steve, Victor and every other maintenance staff have responded promptly and taken care of the problems. They are so friendly and always have answered any questions I’ve had. I like that they take the time to explain what the problem is and how they fixed it. They always clean up after themselves too. I’ve lived in other apts and had to fight to get anyone to even look at an issue! I think the entire staff here truly want their residents to be happy and comfortable.. Rob L at the leasing office has been my go to guy and has helped me over the years with emails and phone calls. He even recently offered to bring my amazon packages to my building since I don’t have a car and have had shoulder surgery and couldn’t pick them up at the amazon lockers. THEY ALL respond to anything that comes up. The grounds are kept beautiful too. The staff here work hard and it shows! The hallways never look shabby . They clean and replace the carpets and paint the walls. It definitely looks like a hotel. They take problems that occur with other residents seriously. Like contacting a resident if they are too loud or anything that might be impacting their neighbors. That’s very much appreciated. Things happen that are out of their control at times but they take care of it! SO THANK YOU AVALON MAINTENANCE AND STAFF!"
