"Smoke and mirrors. Lofts 34 presents well, but living there is a different experience. We had a beautiful apartment but couldn’t enjoy the space. The lady next door smoked and our apartment, clothes, furniture all ended up smelling from her cigarettes. We’re sure she was working from home with international clients since we heard every phone conversation beginning at 4:30 a.m. There’s NO insulation between units, and so no noise or smell barrier. Then, there’s the train. We were in a rear apartment and were told the train passed through only about once a week. That “once a week” translated into 2-3 times (or more) a day! It wasn’t a terrible inconvenience unless it came through while on a business call. The purported “dog park” is a joke. One literally has to cross over the railroad tracks to get to the “dog park” and the space is perhaps 8’ wide. There’s no fence, so it’s really more a “dog walk” than a “dog park.” Security is pretty non-existent. Doors are always being left open. There was a lightning strike that shorted out the external doors and so some doors were inaccessible or left ajar for MONTHS! People were forever roaming in and out of the building. The folks in the front office tried very hard and put up with a lot of complaints from everyone. But they were stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Corporate (Brady-Sullivan) did nothing to rectify the situations that were constantly occurring. Basement apartments were flooded 2 or 3 times in the year we lived there and several apartments had to be gutted. For the rent we were charged, we had lots of space in the apartment, but it is anything BUT luxury. The number of rules and regulations that are part of the renter’s agreement by far supersede the “amenities “ that renters are to receive. When we left, our apartment was spotless and move in ready. We filled holes from any nails we put in the walls and repainted those areas with paint the front office provided. Our apartment was in pristine condition when we left and yet we had to wait 6 weeks (and multiple phone calls and emails) before our security deposit was returned. The demands placed on renters far outweighed any “luxury” or services that we received. If you’re looking at Lofts 34, save yourself the trouble. You can find other places in and around Nashua with infinitely better service, amenities, and accommodations for comparable prices."
"SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DO NOT MOVE TO THE LOFTS. You can move to any other apartment in Nashua and I’m POSITIVE it will be better. I’ve lived in 3 different apartments in Nashua and this was by far the worst one. Starting off as mentioned in other reviews. The walls are paper thin. These apartments were very clearly cheaply made. If you’re sitting in your living room with nothing on and so is your neighbor, you will hear full conversations. Imagine what you will hear in the bedrooms. It feels like such an invasion of privacy for something you’re paying over 2k a month for. THE “AESTHETICS” ARE THE ONLY THING THIS APT HAS GOING FOR IT AND IT IS NOT WORTH IT IN MY OPINION. I would never move into another Brady Sullivan apartment because of how greedy the corporation is. We lived there for 2 years and when we first moved in we were paying about 1900 and mind you this was during Covid 2020. Then when it’s time to renew our lease one year later they raised our rent up to about 2400. Both of these include our dog rent of 50 x2. We asked if they could lessen that or even waive the dog fee. The property manager at the time said “they will probably say no but I will ask them”. Of course she let us know they said no. And we only stayed because as everyone knows, moving is a pain. Fast forward another year and they wanted to raise our rent up to 2600!!!! For an apartment where you hear your neighbors talking in their house at normal levels!!! Absolutely insane, so of course we had to get out. Speaking of property managers the turnover rate is so high with their staff. I think there were 2 or 3 different property managers in just the 2 years we lived there. Definitely a red flag. One time I asked them to come fix the light in my hallway, which I could not do on my own because I don’t have a huge ladder lying around(high ceilings). It had been almost a week and I called and called until finally the front desk person came out to fix it for me since maintenance kept ignoring my requests or not prioritizing them. Now let’s address parking. If you live closer to the franklin street side like I did and not the train tracks, good luck finding a parking. They have a small lot and the other one is a long walk away. I don’t know about you, but after a long tiring shift, I would like to not have to walk far to get to my apartment. But if you want to park on the street, you’ll have to go to the city of nashua to pay for a street parking permit. Pretty inconvenient and annoying if you ask me. Another point is if you have dogs, the very long inconvenient walk to take the dogs in and out to use the bathroom was soooooo annoying. Definitely recommend an apartment with a patio if you have dogs. Or one that you don’t have to walk minutes to get outside so your dog can relieve themselves. Lastly, do not expect to get your security deposit back in a timely manner. NH law says they have 30 days to get you your security deposit, but this is lofts 34 and they will take their time with it. My lease ended August 31st and guess what? Did not receive my check October 3rd. It was so annoying but not shocking as all the other experiences I’ve had with this place. Also, be prepared to have $200 deducted from your deposit for carpet cleaning. Which I don’t think is even legal. They also charged me $15 for excessive lint in my dryer. Unbelievable. As a result of all of the above I felt I NEEDED to come write this review to save anyone even considering this place to STAY AWAY!!!"
"Not the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in, but given how much you’ll be paying in rent, I think it’s reasonable to expect more. Pros: location, rustic aesthetics, professional snow removal. Cons: The pitiful parking situation. Unbelievably poor construction quality. Circuit breaker that pops every other time I run the microwave. No soundproofing whatsoever. Seemingly nonexistent maintenance team. Administrative staff that keeps getting names and email addresses wrong and doesn’t even offer a professional apology (“Oops” is not an apology, especially after you email sensitive personal information to the wrong tenant.) Administrative staff that issues me a key that doesn’t work. Administrative staff that randomly vacates the office or decides to not pick up the phone during posted office hours, even when you make an appointment. No “we will return shortly” sign anywhere. Just an abruptly closed office. Dryer that doesn’t get anything dry. Water heater that supplies lukewarm water. If I was paying about 40% less in rent I would put up with this. But for something you have to make six figures to even qualify for? Disgraceful. PS: They gave me $40 of my $500 deposit back. Claimed that it took them 2 hours of labor to “remove personal items” …. I left a calendar on the wall and a few things inside the fridge. That’s IT. Brady Sullivan Property management is a total scam."
"I overall love living at Lofts 34 because of the location, how beautiful our unit is and how attentive the staff are. That being said, those are my main concerns, if yours differ please read on for an honest opinion of the pros and cons. Pros: The apartments are beautiful, more beautiful than any we have looked at or live in, in the Nashua area. The location is amazing too. They accept pets and the appliances are high quality in each unit. I'm so happy we have a deeper bathtub and washer dryer in unit. The amenities are top notch here: common room, theater, gym etc. The staff are amazing and super helpful, they'll help you with anything and always aim to give you the best service possible. Everything feels safe and secure here. Any complaint we've had has been swiftly remedied by the staff, they actually listen to you and work towards finding a solution. Cons: The parking can be an issue especially with snow removal. There is no recycling in this building and there is only a trash room, no chutes. The apartments can be drafty and the heating system is loud but I think that has more to do with the building being old. Some of the finishing elements in your apartment look sloppy, I think it was a rushed renovation. If you're looking to live in a place that has an up and coming city life, with great amenities and is beautifully built, I highly recommend living here. You can walk to cafes, restaurants and bars. The river offers and amazing view and the amenities really make it so you never have to leave. Our lease will be coming up for renewal this year and I can honestly say that we don't want to live anywhere else. Cluster/apartment living will always have its drawbacks regardless of the property but this apartment feels like my home and I really do love living here."
"For millennials to mid-lifers and beyond, Lofts 34 is the place to be! It's a community filled with professionals. Very friendly, respectful of quiet hours, and NOT the feeling of your dorm life back in college. While the amenities allow for all kinds of fun - from air hockey & billiards to indoor putting practice, basketball, theater room, gym, areas for a family party, or the quiet library, Lofts 34 has all you need. The big appeal for me was my own washer/dryer, VERY pet friendly, quiet, and clean. The staff is amazing! Friendly office workers who actually know who you are, a dedicated cleaning lady, and an approachable/friendly maintenance crew - all always going out of their way to chat with me, greet my dogs, and meet my needs. I've had to submit requests for some easy repairs and the maintenance guys responded almost immediately, and voluntarily brought along dog treats for my pups! Best advice I was given when transitioning from home-ownership to apartment life was to find a place I'm happy to come home to. And with Lofts 34, I did."
