"Heather is exceptional! We were traveling with our son's hockey team and we arrived at the pub after 9 pm for dinner. Not only was she our bartender, she was also the hostess and server. She took everything in stride and with much grace, ensured everyone was taken care of. The next morning we arrived at breakfast and were once again greeted cheerfully by Heather. Thank you for taking care of us and your gracious hospitality. Considering our large group that she was serving, she was prompt, efficient and always smiling. The hotel is lucky to have Heather on their team!!!"

"Didn't stay at the DoubleTree but visited the Speaker's Corner twice. I had the lobster roll each time (Connecticut style one day, New England style the next; prefer CT style). Frank is probably the best bartender in all of NH. Funny, personable, great to have a conversation with. The best"

"Gotta tell I was a little disappointed with this hotel for a double tree it could be better. The rooms were a little older and dingy feeling but decently clean. No microwave in room. No 24 hr coffee. It looks like a yak lives on your luggage racks. For Pete’s sake take 10 minutes and clean those nasty things. It was very busy with different events and such there. Use that money to update your hotel and replace your carpet. However the staff was excellent and helped us work out a booking issue. They bent over backwards and really were wonderful."

"We stayed for one night to attend a family gathering in the area. The hotel location was perfect for us. The room was very clean and well maintained. Frank at the bar provides great service. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and good. One suggestion- please add electric car charging station- that would be a great competitive advantage."
