"People were partying. In the room smoking marijuana They gave me a refund. But now I am broke down. On the side of the road with no fuel and no heat. And the manager. Said oh well not my problem I am going to. Blast them all over the Internet and. Every news station will hear about the way sidqua butler. Treats the customer."
"Positives: Overall customer service is fantastic. Front desk service was A+. They did their best to address any issues. Misto in maintenance is super helpful and a great guy. Beds are too soft for my taste but comfortable. Linen is fresh and clean, as are towels. Food is currently NOT a grab and go. It's hot food buffet style. Plenty to go around and wide variety. Not a fan of their round greasy sausage patties though. I preferred the sliced kielbasa they had but have only seen it with one breakfast all week. Eggs are great. They have yogurt, waffles, muffins, oatmeal , cereal and bananas. Everything else is decent. They close promptly at 10am. Pool and whirlpool Jacuzzi are nice and clean. They have fresh towels to dry off and a shower to use. No changing rooms but they have a single bathroom nearby. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are fixed shower heads so it makes it difficult to wash the soap off, unless you get a suite with a King sized bed and walk in shower. Then you will have a detachable shower head. Water comes out of walk in shower and can cause the bathroom floor to be slick. Outside traffic noise from Amherst St. and Somerset Parkway is barely noticeable. Negatives: wall thermostat doesn't work correctly but the temperature can be controlled directly from the unit. Non functional room clock but microwave clock works. Not a big deal. Empty moisturizer when I arrived but refilled when requested. Two out of three exercise bikes were non functional in gym. Ice maker broken for more than a week. No coffee or beverages available in lobby after 8pm even though I believe it's supposed to be until 11pm. Major: door closing noise from nearby rooms is explosively loud. Doors are designed to close in their own. Someone closes a door within 5 rooms from you, or your neighbor slides a drawer shut, it results in a giant boom. You will wake even with good earplugs. Ventilation system doesn't appear to be circulating any air to the point it is stifling and causes congestion. Door needs to stay open to get air from the hallway. Ductwork is need of a cleaning. Water here is very hot to the point where it could pose a scaling risk to the elderly, disabled, or children. Be sure to supervise and set the temperature accordingly. The adjustments are sensitive."
"The nice things about this location are easy access from the highway, it is near shops and places to eat, and the beds are very comfortable! On the flip side, the rooms are clean but they are by no means fresh. Our room was stale and smelled a bit musty. There was also hair from the previous occupant still on the shower floor. The elevators were the worst part, smelling like a mix of urine, cigarettes, and body odor. Overall, it wasn’t terrible but if I had the choice, I’d choose a different location."
"We were there for a full week. Had coffee ready every morning, free breakfast with a variety. Staff was great all around. Rooms were clean and quiet. Perfect stay overall! And it was an affordable price."
"Rooms were okay. I’m allergic to animals & there was some pet hair in the room & I got an allergic reaction. Pool was great, kids loved it. Customer service was great. Breakfast- we got there at 8:30 & there was basically none left. The bathroom sink kept getting stopped up. The toilet was extremely loud & you had to hold it down for a period of time to flush it. The metal bar to the door in the shower was broken. Also, I didn’t know you have to tell the front desk you want your room cleaned otherwise they still won’t let clean it. Even if you’re DND is not on the door handle."
