Dover Heights

"I lived at Dover Heights for three and a half years 2017 – 2020. The apartment complex is in a fabulous location (walk to train station, downtown, nature areas), the residents were nice, the buildings and landscaping pleasant. The walls and floors between apartments are not very soundproof and, depending upon the habits of neighbors, there can be noise issues, but otherwise the facility and its residents comprise a comfortable living environment. Alas, the wonderful facilities manager “Bob” left after the complex was sold to new owners in 2019 who then contracted with new property managers in early 2020 just before Covid struck. Management has changed hands again since that time, so I cannot comment on new business arrangements, and I'm not sure if the new "Bob" is the same as the former "Bob" - hopefully so!"

"Great location and fantastic maintenance department! Some residents treat parking lot like a dump. Some residents need multiple reminders to leash pets."

"My experience with Dover Heights has been awesome overall. Initially, some management quit in late 2020 making it difficult to communicate with someone overseeing the property. Now, however, the property has a new maintenance man, Bob, who has been great to interact with. He is personable, handy, and dependable in a pinch. Being that the buildings are a little older, having a quality maintenance guy is an essential component of trusting your apartment will be maintained well. Since new management was hired, my girlfriend and I have had no problems. Even though I live next to the laundry machine, there really is minimal noise from neighboring residents, and the machine. There are cool nature trails nearby by the cemetery and Idylwilde farms(one of the coolest farms/grocery stores I've ever been too."

"Since the managing company changed during the past year, the leasing offices are not friendly, not responsive, charges extra $250 monthly for living out of lease, and increased $200 tenant fee! I have been living here for 10 years, but this is the worst managing ever."
