"Traveling we stopped off in Boston to see a friend in grad school at Harvard. Our dog had an emergency problem, we looked to see where the closest vet hospital was. On entering the premises, we explained to the receptionist what happened and she says "we don't do emergencies, here's the addresses of some emergency veterinary hospitals." We had an acute emergency - our dog had a seizure and had never had one before. No offer to even see if the veterinarian would see our dog. People are from out of town, they don't know which vet hospital to go to and quite frankly when your dog has a seizure and is not elderly, a little compassion would have been nice. I know if I lived there I would not take my pets there after interacting with that receptionist."

After she examined his teeth and cut his nails, he easily transferred to his carrier. DR. Evans gave me a good synopsis of his issues and treatment Options. The estimate of charges was reasonable.
