"My husband and I enjoyed our 40th anniversary at The Captains Manor Inn! The rooms and the grounds were very well maintained and the convenience to shopping was superb! The breakfasts were delicious and our hosts were vey helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"We accidentally got lost and our gps kept bringing us back to this man’s inn. After a couple of rounds I decided to stop and ask for directions. I knocked their reception door and his sweet kind wife came up to the door and she was kind enough to give us directions. This man who I assumed to be her husband came up from behind her and yanked her away from us … asked us to get off from his property, and kept degrading us through the entire process as we were turning our car around to exit. The way he looked and reacted to me and my kids was because we were black. He kicked us our like we were stray dogs.. If you’re a black family this is not the place for you…."

"Patti and Randy are amazing hosts and owners of the Captains Manor Inn. It is MORE than amazing! Our room was the Forbes room and it was beautifully done. Our king bed was so soft and seriously comfy! The homemade breakfasts were awesome and prepared on site and can be specific to any dietary needs. Patti and Randy clearly enjoy what they do and it shows in every way. Both are so good at offering suggestions on dining and sites to see. We would highly recommend and we would go back in a heartbeat! It was fun sitting on the front deck enjoying wine or cocktail and meeting other guests of the Inn! Thank you Patti and Randy for making our little getaway easy, enjoyable and relaxing!"
