"Great pet shop by the highway! Always had good luck with the fish, and recently grabbed a 125 gallon tank through them. Nick is fine friendly and super helpful! Loading, advice, and all!"
"Very knowledgeable. I've been fighting a problem with algae in our tank for months, and have tried several products suggested by other pet stores, none of which worked. Fish Nook suggested one simple fix, I tried it and the water was clear within an hour. Do yourself a favor, save your time and money and start here."
"It was my first time shopping here, bought some fish for my boys as a Christmas gift. Prices are higher than other stores. The fish immediately started dying within days of them being home. They were placed in a well established planted tank that has never had issues. They are showing signs of ich and fin-rot. One has already died and I'm trying to save the other two in a quarantine tank. The return policy is basically "if they want to" and store credit only. I will shop elsewhere."
"I have attached an image of what the owner claims is a beloved pet of the store he would not trade for anything less than a new car. There is no water in this pet's bowl, and the cage is clearly dirty and uncleaned. There were other snakes in their cages that did not have water bowls. The owner was quick to get aggressive when confronted with these conditions. I bought a snake from here anyway, and when it died within a week, the owner was quick to blame me. He said that the 10 minute transport to my home killed the snake, and it was my fault. He was unprofessional at best. He said the snake was "moving" when he gave it to me, and that was a hallmark of it's good health. I would like to mention he gave it to me via spare, used cardboard box he threw the snake into. He then blamed me for not taking it to a vet immediately (ignoring what the vet bills would have cost) and began to lie about how the employee I spoke to on the phone offered to negotiate a fair refund. After insisting that something be done, he offered me half of the snake's selling price in store credit. While the reptile's conditions are poor, the mice and rabbits also seemed to lack water constantly in the two times I have visited. Not offering your animals water is neglect. While this may be a good fish store, many other animals are suffering under their care. I do not and would not support this business at all. I came in expecting a local business dedicated to their animals, and found something else."
