"Front desk staff went above and beyond and were incredible. Great location and exhibits the austere features that I like about an AC Hotels. Breakfast is good, it should be noted this location does not make custom omelettes etc. About the floors: really the main downside. The planks are peeling up and kind of “squish” with the water underneath them. Many other Marriotts have this same floor material, but in this case it’s not working"

"Terrible front desk dude who seemed to be put-out, doing his job. Just not friendly. Never a thank you or welcome. Fire Alarm went off on Saturday night. Big hassle. Cafe and bar wasn't open or staffed. Food was awful. Shower head was broken. Never again"

"Had a great time staying here during a business trip. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean. Parking is available at a public garage around the corner, which the hotel will validate for. I really enjoyed the park area around the hotel. It was lovely to walk around and see the wildlife. It’s also a close 10-15 mins walk to Alewife Station."

"Mattresses are soooooooo, very uncomfortable. After 3 nights I am in terrible pain. TV cuts out from cable at least every 10 minutes and takes you back to the Marriot ad channel. Bathroom door provides absolutely no privacy. Housekeeping is minimal at best. Floors were filthy. We purchased a Swiffer and cleaned it ourselves. Located distantly from Boston attractions which jacks up Uber rates. Hard pass on this hotel."

"Stayed almost a week at the AC Hotel by Marriott to explore Cambridge and Boston. Great location as it's a short and beautiful walk to the train station. The front desk service was always amazing. The complimentary fruit-flavoured water and the lavender pouches were a small and thoughtful touch for guests. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We found a brownie under the bed, the shower ledge was a bit dirty and the wires for the sound machine and alarm clock were very dusty. Despite these minor concerns, would highly recommend staying at this hotel for its great location and service."
