"I had a pleasureful stay at Hotel 1868 while visiting Boston. Hotel was situated at a wonderful location where I was able to access subway, bus stop, cafes, target, CVS and some restaurants too. It wasn’t very far away from airport as well as from main downtown. Hotel staff were exceptionally nice, cooperative, attentive and friendly. I would specially like to mention Ms. Vasilisa, who helped me by going an extra mile by accommodating my luggage. I would like to express my gratitude to her for making my stay very comfortable and facilitating me. Their hospitality was great and rooms were very clean, tidy and well equipped. Their gym was well equipped and they provide unlimited coffee and tea. If someone is staying for work they provide very nice working space and meeting area. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would like to book same hotel in my next visit too."

"I booked a room about four weeks in advance but tried to cancel due to my daughter's hospitalization. I was able to provide proof of the circumstances, and pleaded with the management. I got an arrogant response, like "at least you'll being paying less for the room than the hospital stay". Bottom line: the hotel would not refund my stay. I strongly urge prospective patrons to consider staying elsewhere because of this unbelievable, customer-unfriendly refund policy."

"Great room! The shower was really nice! Rooms were very clean and the bed was great. The service from desk to housekeeping to valet was excellent and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I’d give service 6 stars if I could. Looking forward to my next stay at 1868!"

"The staff was super accommodating and friendly! Our flight was delayed ~16 hours and we missed the first night in the hotel, and we didn’t even have to ask for them to take it off! Also, you can not beat the location of this hotel! You’re right across the street from the Red Line, so get yourself a Charlie Card and you have access to the whole city right outside your door! My singular complaint is that the walls are very thin, but with how great everything else was, I didn’t mind."
