"I went to purchase a few gift cards on Sunday 12/17/23 while the cashier was ringing me up another employee asked me to show my id because I was buying gift cards for $100. I asked why I needed to show an id for my purchase (I was not asked what my form of payment I would be using) and was told it standard practice to ask for an id on debit or credit cards over $100 because of fraud. I informed the employee that I was paying with cash and was told to forget about what was said . I am an African American and I felt targeted because of my color . My friend who is caucasian bought gift cards for over $100 on a debit card on the same day and was not asked to show an id. Please stop treating people of color like we are thieves."

"I am such a TJ Maxx addict. The cosmetics corner is always addictive though unpredictable. You can't ever guarantee you will find the same thing again, lol... This last time I went in there hoping to find a graduation dress and walked out with four. I spent $120 for four really cute dresses. My only complaint would be that my shoe size is so common that there isn't usually a lot to choose from there. The staff at this store is really sweet too - lots of UMass students I think."

"Nice selection of quality clothing & accessories for the whole family. Lots of designer items. Clearance racks. Some things were a little expensive, but lots of reasonable prices also! Definitely cheaper than high end department stores. Nice children's clothing! Restrooms for customers. Handicapped accessible. Easy parking right out front. Located in Stop & Shop plaza. Friendly staff. Wait in line was quick. Would definitely return! Very nice store. Similar to Marshall's."
