"Cashier and another employee were so pleasant and helpful. It is a smaller store than many others but with that kind of treatment it is well worth trying to get everything I need there. I did run into a slight hiccup with them but carrying (or out of) exactly what I was looking for, but I was able to pick something else comparable. Even still it was a great shopping experience."
"I was very pleased with my shopping experience at Dollar Tree today. When I went in I was looking for a specific item and couldn't find it one of the ladies that work in the store was very nice she stopped what she was doing and help me look for that item she was determined to find it and she did and I was very thankful and grateful of that. It's very refreshing when you go into a retail store and actually get customer service. Also the cashier was very friendly and was very welcoming."
"This is just a typical Dollar Tree with the normal dollar store finds. The store itself seems pretty clean and smells pleasant when you walk in the door. The cashier was another story however. My total came to $4.50 and I handed the cashier a $5 bill. She took the money, put it inside her drawer and closed it then was about to begin ringing up the next customer when I pointed out that I did not receive my change. She raised her voice and got snotty with me stating that five items equals $5. Once I pointed out that the greeting card I purchased was only fifty cents, she snatched the bag from my daughter and pulled the receipt out with aggression and attitude. She read the receipt and realized her mistake then called over a supervisor to open her drawer. Never once did she apologize or even acknowledge her mistake. She simply had the drawer opened and handed me the $0.50. At least I received my correct change in the end, however I think the management of this particular store may want to check into some customer service training."
"In my opinion, one should lower their expectations a bit when shopping somewhere like a dollar store. You have to understand that the employees are most likely not paid well, and probably not valued very much either. They’re considered easily replaceable, I’m sure. So, keeping that in mind, I think it explains why customer service is not exactly top notch, and things are not as neat & tidy as Target, for example. This location is one of the better Dollar Tree stores I have visited. I have never experienced staff to be rude or unhelpful, the store isn’t a mess, and it’s in a reasonably safe area with good parking."
