Lazy L At Willow Creek Bed & Breakfast

"Had a quick but great visit. Our dog Jackson loved the property. Location was quiet but a short drive to Lewes. Was very impressed with the breakfast spread. Staff were friendly and attentive."

"Lazy L was a fantastic find. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the property is gorgeous but not fussy, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was interesting and tasty, and the location was perfect. Right on the edge of the marsh with kayaks for active exploration and a hot tub for quiet enjoyment; a very brief drive into Lewes, close to the beach, and easy access to Rehoboth. My only disappointment is that, despite the dog friendly vibe, I didn't get to pet any dogs. Thanks for a super restful weekend, Lazy L!"

"This was our 2nd year in a row going to the Lazy L. My son, daughter-in-law, and long haired mini dachshund, Lars and I couldn't wait to get back to the Lazy L to see Meta, Christine and Jim. They oversee the B & B. And let me tell you, they are all FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, KIND AND THOUGHTFUL PEOPLE! Not only is this, hands down, the best breakfast you will ever have, it is displayed incredibly well. My daughter-in-law is expecting a baby and as soon as Meta and Christine heard the news there was a lovely baby gift bag loaded with incredible gifts with a bottle of wine! The owners, Carrie and Lou Wolinetz were there when we were there. I suggested that it would be nice to add a 2nd bedroom and bath to the Denver Cottage or build another cottage. One more thing...since the Denver Cottage only has one bedroom and one bath, we decided to rent the bottom level which has two bedrooms and a common area. What we didn't know is that all of the early morning breakfast prep starts about 6:00 am right above us! Meta and Christine wear soft footies to keep the noise level down but every morning the dog and I were up at 6:00 am. Also, the air conditioner broke in both bedrooms. The owner, Lou, bought a window air conditioner. After he put it in the window, we came back after dinner and the side piece snapped back which so there was a large area of outside exposed. It took my son 45 minutes to kill all of the bugs that flew in!"

"I would recommend the Lazy L to anyone! Staff was very welcoming to us and our furry friend. Quality breakfast served daily with options for those with dietary restrictions. For those looking for a quiet oasis that is close to the beach, come here! Plenty of options on the property to relax, including the pool, hot tub, walking trails, fire area, indoor scenic loft, and game room. A quick 15 minute drive to Cape Henlopen State Park where dogs can go on the beach year round (unguarded beaches only). We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"We had a very enjoyable two night stay in mid October with our beagle, Scout. It's rare to find accommodations that even allow pets, so a bed and breakfast that openly welcomes them is a real gem. The grounds are beautiful and quiet, but not too far away from things to do in Lewes and Rehoboth. Everyone on the staff was helpful and welcoming too. We hope to make it back here sometime soon."
