"Everyone that works there was just great. Friendly, comfortable, relaxing, clean and calm atmosphere. First time there and would definitely go again. We are already making plans."
"The location of this hotel is just perfect, as it’s right in the heart of the action! Walking distance from downtown Lewes and a short ride to the beach. There is lots to do in the area for anyone coming for a vacation or a quick day trip. The staff are kind and courteous and very accommodating. We’ve always loved coming here for a quick overnight in Lewes."
"For a motel I was truly impressed with the cleanliness of not only the rooms but the property as a whole. We stayed there occupying three two bedroom rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and the balconies were clean. Every room had cold A/C and heat as well as a small wall-mounted TV and refrigerator. The pricing was higher than we would have like to spend but granted, we stayed during a holiday weekend so what else could we have expected. Being walking distance to the Lemon Tree Restaurant and the Beach as well this location is a top option pick for those looking to stay somewhere close to the beach, without spending an arm and a leg on renting a beach-front or off-shore beach house. The staff was friendly and very accommodating as well."
"Just back and here is a full review : Location : Excellent - In close distance to everything Lewes has to offer. Room: Stayed in the largest Double King Room - Very spacious. fridge was large and worked well. Cute table and chairs. Just like shown in picture. Cute decor! Mattress and pillow were actually awesome for a motel . Loved the mint green sheets. Felt better and looked better than the yucky white sometimes stained sheets you see at other motels. Showerhead and tub extremely clean. Water pressure was also awesome. Bathroom wasn't huge, but not too small either. Plenty of room for toiletries etc. Lighting was excellent in bathroom. Balcony very cute, but very small. Back view by pool was nice! Pool: Daughter swam once. It looked like it could use an upgrade, but usable. Not sure if I saw any filtration? Wasnt as clean as it could be. But still Ok. Lots of loungers and alot of space for hanging out with tables and some privacy. Great views! Check in : Slightly slow...They seem to have issues with computer alot. Great second floor level with ice, vending machine, and ping pong table. Fish tank and chalkboard are a cute touch with a lot of sitting room in lobby. If you like nautical theme, you will like the lobby and surroundings. BEST PART ::::: You are able to leave your car in parkling lot before and after checkout, and also use their pool, facilities, and bathrooms, also had a shower! Most places do not offer this. Overall for a motel it was very clean, but it is old school vintage which is cute , but could use an upgrade in some areas. You really can't beat it for the price! We are from NJ and found the pricing to be extremely reasonable for a shore town. Also, Margie and Maggie are very friendly, and you can tell they take care of their visitors! Also, we found the motel very quiet!! No thin walls, never heard much from other visitors. ONLY NEGATIVE : Air Conditioning - Husband had a hard time sleeping cause the air conditioning, which is usually loud anyway at most places, turned on and off very loudly, more like a jet engine, and every ten minutes seemed to turn and off. It did cool the room, but the turning on and off so much can make it harder to fall asleep or stay asleep. Would stay again!"
"I have gone here every year since I was a toddler! It's a fantastic place! The pool is cool too, and it's good because you can swim without getting sandy or worrying about losing your pool toys. It's a very comfy place with a good vibe in general, and I really like the mural in the stairwell. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very comfy. It's also very close to the beach and to various stores so everything is in a walking distance!"
