"Darryl was amazing! He listened to me express my feelings about something traumatic I had experienced and he was extremely understanding. He didn't make me feel bad about what I experienced and he was very supportive. He normalized my feelings and acknowledged the impact this event had on me."

"I had four tele visit sessions with Daryl and each time I left feeling worse than I already felt. During an evaluation when giving an example of a previous situation his response was that I should have done more without getting the full story of the situation. When mentioning that over the years I have had to become very aware of myself and situations I was asked “well then why do you need therapy?” Each session started late and ended early. My final session I was informed that he was actually not at his normal space but at his brothers home and that the time we had scheduled was actually one of his vacation days. Then proceeded to pay more attention to his brothers dog than our session. My employer’s leave company requested disability paperwork to be filled out for a short term leave which was expressed to me that he has handled the papers from the company many times before. I have been left in pending status due to his filing of incorrect begin date and have been left for the holiday month without disability compensation and pending status of leave. The leave company has reached out to him but they have gotten no answer. Pending status has also left me in a situation where I am unable to return to work without proper authorization."

I am not going back and making a complaint to NYS State Education Department for this. I needed to work through some issues and this had caused me more problems."
