"Cancer is such a scary word and now you face this journey. Every person at the Bennett Cancer Center was kind and helpful. Moving through chemotherapy each week, there when needed answering all concerns and questions. Surgery was done with no issues and guidance given when I needed it. I could not have asked for more care. Radiation is going very well and every one in the office bends over to be helpful and accommodating to my needs."

"I had the most wonderful experience during one of the hardest times in my life. The staff at the BCC were so friendly and cared about your feelings and they are so patient. From the office staff to Amanda to the techs - Matt, Gabby and crew, and to Dr. Oh. they ALL made me feel very comfortable everyday as I walked in. I also took advantage of the massage services upstairs. they were also great. I also made friends in the waiting room. We are all there for the same reason and you connect on a different level. With receiving such news, you feel like you are in another world, but when I walked in everyday, I knew I was in good hands. "Stamford hospital truly goes above and beyond with their patients! There were some cancer centers that would not treat me because I was 18 weeks pregnant when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but Stamford Hospital treated my case with extra TLC! They were so supportive, understanding and compassionate! I am so very grateful for the nurses and doctors there! My oncologist, Dr. Weinstein, is wonderful and I trust him with my life (and the life of my unborn baby)! His gentle and attentive approach to my treatment and care was exactly what my family and I needed while navigating cancer during pregnancy. My infusion nurses, Andrea and Audrey, held my hand and supported me during pregnancy and the covid pandemic. I do not know how I would have gotten through those 16 rounds of chemotherapy without them! They are angels on Earth! I wish cancer never had to be a part of my life, but I could not ask for a better caregiver than Stamford Hospital! Even in survivorship, they are there to support you! The integrative medicine department has helped me tremendously and this program is crucial for patients and survivors! I’ve talked with patients from other hospitals and none of them offer massage, reflexology, reiki or acupuncture like Stamford hospital does! Those services are such a gift for patients!"

"From the time I was diagnosed through my chemo and recovery I have found a home away from home at the BCC. Unbelievably wonderful doctors, nurses and all staff made me feel at home and well cared for and that they were all in my corner rooting for me to get well. My oncologist (Dr. Chris DelPrete) especially was so caring, always giving me hope when I wasn’t feeling it. Now, because of him, I am in a trial that I feel might prolong my life. "As a current patient there, I cannot say enough about the Bennett Cancer Center. Besides the fact that so far I have gotten great results from immunotherapy/chemotherapy regimen, the care has been outstanding. Oncologist is top notch and state of the art. There has been absolutely no lag in treatment. Affiliation with Dana Farber is a huge plus. (I believe they have tumor board meetings with them once a week.) I am into two rounds of radiation and am just about finished. State of the art machine with no side effects except tiredness so far. The staff in both oncology/hemotology, including the docs, are pleasant and efficient showing great care for the patients. The staff in radiation are kind and caring and I think I maybe waited ten minutes once for an appointment. Otherwise, they are always on time. Oh!!! big plus. They actually answer the phone and if, for some reason, can't, are back to you within minutes. Doctors call you back in timely manner and are happy to answer your concerns and questions. I have heard this type of review from several friends who have gone there for a variety of types of cancers. They cannot rave about it enough. And, by the way, though the parking is limited, there is a valet right there to park your car for free and a golf cart attendant who, if you cannot navigate yourself, will drive you right up to the front door."
