Pie Hops

"I have been here a few times when my friend's band was playing. I usually just get a drink and stay for a little while. This time I ordered food since I went straight from work. I ordered the cheeseburger pizza. I was surprised that it had yellow mustard on it but it was pretty good. There was a little too much mustard for my taste, however. This venue is in an historic city so the interior still has elements of the old days when architecture was built to last and incorporated elegance but unfortunately, these days it's drafty and the modern renovations don't do it justice. There used to be a more varied menu but that has been reduced to a one page flyer with bar food so not a lot of choices. The owner came over to talk to us which was nice. Apparently, the bigger crowds arrive much later than I was willing to stay. I will continue to stop by this place when my friend is there but it's not a place I would go any other time."

"Inconsistency reigns supreme at Pie Hops. A true blight on the Rose of New England. The 2nd or 3rd rebranding of this place and they still can't get things right? Abysmal management and ownership by the looks of it especially if they need to fabricate positive Google reviews on their own place!"
