"Terrible. They refuse to cover a medication . They are medical professionals- your doctor is and if your doctor prescribes a medication clearly you need it. Me doctor did a prior authorization too and it was still denied. It’s a basic remedial concept. Someone pays for insurance coverage- they go to doctor- doctor prescribes- insurance covers and or pays partial and you pay copay. Do better. If you are an employer seeking a new insurance company for your employees stay clear. If you have any choice do not pick United !!"
"when i joined united health care i was signed up with a great navigator named miss carrie ryan and i can honestly say that she was the best lady that i have ever worked with and i was so very pleased to have had the chance to get to know someone like her. she is a wonderful person that knows how to work with people and has what it takes to take care of her client's. but then there is the people that answer the phone i am not sure as to where they get these people but a lot of them i can not barely understand them or what they are saying a lot of them do have a problem with listening to me when i am trying to talk to them. i would say over all very piss poor service."
"Needed paperwork sent to me and not only did it take them over a month and two phone calls requesting the paperwork but when it finally came they somehow managed to put the completely wrong last name ("Black"). I will say that when I requested to speak to a supervisor, she was very helpful but by then the damage was already done as it prevented me from having health care for several months."
