"I am 59 yrs old & acquired a knee injury about 5 yrs ago (torn meniscus & ligament). The orthopedic Md did not recommend surgery because I also have arthritis in the knee. I've been living with pain, swelling & a gradual decrease of my normal physical activities since. In the past 6 months the pain & swelling to my knee has increased & my mobility compromised @ times.
