"I’ve dined here twice since the start of 2024. The food is fantastic, wait staff impecable and so nice. The selection is amazing my first visit I had the shrimp and grits with the peach empanada, our group had the cod, fried chicken, monkey bread - our waiter Jason was the bomb!! Best service second visit the baked goat cheese, beet and arugula salad. Nothing better than a delicious mule to wash it down! We will be back! They have gorgeous private rooms for small gatherings that are beautifully decorated and the coffee oil collection in the entry is so great!"
"We had the grilled oysters to start Delish. I am not an oyster fan but i ate 2 oysters. They were nicely grilled in a garlic inspired crust. Wonderful. We also had the chicken pot pie. Ample chicken and veggies, the crust was flaky, hot and perfect size. We also had the fried chicken. It was okay. Try one of their other specialties. Give the restaurant a try."
"The Greer Southern Table has a homey, family vibe that lets you relax, let go, and fully enjoy your meal. The wait staff and bartenders are exceptional. They are helpful, friendly, and it feels like they are having a good time and happy to be there. It is so rare to feel this welcome by staff in any restaurant. Chris was our waiter (consider yourself lucky if he is your waiter), and at the end of the meal he remarked that he appreciated us coming by to spend the evening there. It was such a kind sentiment and one that made us feel like we weren’t just visiting a business but spending time amongst friends. Ok on to the food…it was outstanding. The “redneck edamame” is a must order. The beet brined deliver eggs are to die for and we couldn’t stop eating the highly addictive corn dip (less heavy/creamy than other corn dips in a great way). Even the chips were tasty with spice on each one. The attention to detail is impressive. Their squash, burrata and arugula salad was a medley of flavor that we couldn’t stop eating (sweet, crunchy, salty, creamy, just an awesome juxtaposition of textures and flavors). And then we had to try the famous fried chicken which absolutely deserves ALL the buzz. Crunchy, moist deliciousness! The truffle mac and cheese was so good too, although I waited a bit too long to eat it and I wish I tried it when it was warmer. It is made with ditalini pasta (a welcome change) and topped with ritz crackers which add a really lovely texture and buttery taste to the dish. I happen to like coleslaw and theirs is a great pairing to the chicken, it’s super clean, light, and has a great crunch. The apps and dinner were so filling but we couldn’t go without ordering dessert. The Natchez Mud Mousse looked too good from the next table over to ignore. It was insane. It was one of the best chocolate mousse desserts I have ever had. The super creamy whip with the gorgeous chocolatey mousse, and at the bottom this awesome cookie crumble that adds a new texture and taste…it was pure heaven and a wonderful way to wrap a beautiful meal. This restaurant was SO good that I am already planning my next visit. I have a feeling their brunch is incredible, and there were wayyyy too many items on the menu that we missed and wanted to order so I will most certainly be back."
"Loved this restaurant. Found it while searching restaurants in the area and so glad it came up. We had amazing service while we were there. The waiter was very attentive and checked on our table frequently. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. We went closer to closing so we were surprised with how well the waitstaff treated us. Since we are from put of town we have not been back since but definitely will be if we are in the area again."
"Absolutely amazing!!! The Shrimp and grits!!!! Loved the deep fried peach tasted like it was wrapped in an apple cider donut. Our waitress Kate was perfect-super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!"
