"Upset to say the least - I dropped off 30 items A black and white market dress that costs me $100 - never worn among other beautiful things were all donated when I said I would come get my things - owner seemed agitated that day when I was dropping off but promised to hold my things till Tuesday due to my really far commute and there was a snowstorm (Tues)- I called the store multiple times- mailbox was full!!!! - no one answered - so they donated everything except 3 things and also texted the wrong number to say they were donating my things after I gave the owner the correct number to call that day I dropped my things off All my stuff GONE !! The employee had no idea the back room & didn’t know the owner said she’d hold it till Tuesday ( no communication either) Not sure I’ll be comfortable n signing here after 20/25 years of doing business with this company - just soooo disappointed ☹️"

"I called this owner about my account and she said she had a bin of clothes and didn’t know who they belonged to. I couldn’t believe my ears. She said oh did you have a lot of shoes???? She took all my things the day I came in. I’m going down today to get my things back. I will call the police if they are not there, I dropped them off on 8/11. She is also rude. I am also contacting the better business bureau. Awful woman. Should not be in business."

"Don't shop at this store. The manager/owner/salesperson is extremely rude! She wouldn't honor the price on an item I wanted to buy because it was a good deal (I found it on the markdown rack in the back of the store?. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Then she subtly implied that "someone" must have switched the tag. She doesn't deserve to ever have another customer. There are a lot of other consignment stores around with better merchandise and better prices. Who wants to deal with someone who is rude and insulting. Panache on Park Road in West Hartford is amazing and the owner is awesome. Don't shop at Consignment Originals in Avon."

"As a man of exquisite taste, I tend to enjoy the finer things in life, I don't however like paying the exhorbant prices often associated with fine clothing. I enjoy shopping here because often times they have my size and the prices are very reasonable for the kinds of brands that they deal with. I've never had an issue with rude management, so I dont know what some of the other customers are complaining about. But I do tend to bite back also, so perhaps I just have thougher skin. I come here several times a month and bring my wife and mother and they always find something that they like, Ofcourse being the gentleman that I am, I always pay for them. So we do make quite a few purchases here. Overall a great Clothier with generous pricing!"
