"I wish him well, he clearly has some issues.... Stop by to visit during open hours and he nearly panicked when my son and I approached. Told us we had to wait outside due to COVID (we were already standing by the door and it's September 2022), said ok np, before I can even get another word out he says we need mask i said okay then proceeds to tell me again that we have to go outside I said all right and then he starts to tell me that I needed to call I said okay.... He was clearly distraught. While he was rambling on and on i very kindly and politely told him we will come back another time. At which point he lost it."

"Katz knows his gloves. 10 minute on the phone, I was asked the type of glove, color and desired break in. I was given real expectations as to any color changes and what break in would and would not do. I am 100% satisfied. Quick turnaround as well. First Base Heart of Hide so it was a chore I am sure but all came out perfectly. Thanks!"

"Contacted Mr. Katz about breaking in a new glove my daughter got for Christmas. Mr Katz is very knowledgeable about gloves but ran into an issue when going to pay for his services. When speaking with him he was very adamant that he would not provide his services due to his knowledge of me owning AR-15’s. (PayPal account had been canceled due to their concerns with my purchases which were 100% legal) He could not understand why anyone would want a weapon like that. He indicated to me that we were on opposite ends of the spectrum. The reason I am writing this review is to inform others like myself that Mr Katz would not perform a break-in service for my daughter’s glove due to me owning fully legal rifles that were purchased at a gun store and went through a background check just like every other gun I have ever purchased. Again, very knowledgeable about gloves. Can come across a little condescending but he will give you his honest opinion on whatever you ask him."

"Went to research a new baseball for my Grandson. Dave Katz the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable and informed me that a new glove was not yet necessary.He also shared a baseball secret that should help with my Grandson catching the ball consistently. It was great talking baseball with Mr. Katz."

"We went to Katz sports store with the intention on buying our daughter a new softball glove. What an experience we had!! Dave was assisting some baseball players but acknowledged us right away and would be with us soon. While we hung out for Dave we explored his store. He is a firm believer of supporting small businesses and making sure technology doesn’t take over the world. When it came to our time, we showed him our daughters glove and he said there was nothing wrong with it. He continued to show her the proper way of using the glove and even took her outside to throw some balls with her. If you are planning on upgrading or purchasing a ball glove for your son or daughter- THIS IS THE PLACE!! He’s an honest man doing what he loves! Thank you Dave"
