"pretty good breadth of bike gear, but if you want something specific use the website to make sure they stock it locally, you may have to do an in-store pickup order. One bike rack outside and if your bike isn't muddy the staff seem like they might let you bring it in instead of locking it, I didn't ask. very helpful and friendly staff. No dogs allowed in the store, I'd call ahead if you need to make sure something fits yours."

"I went with my wife to buy hiking boots. The store was very thorough in fitting her with an appropriate pair that suited her needs. They also have a faux rock for testing the boots. We also bought a pair of trekking poles. Looking forward to using them for our next hike. Great service."

Everything was explained, they discussed discounts and time for service. There's also topnotch sporting goods in there. It was my first time at an REI and I'll definitely be going back there again. "What an excellent experience. I ordered two kayaks to the store, and called in to see if they could help me pick out my roof rack system. The fellow on the phone was patient, verbose in his explanations, outgoing and knowledgeable. They ended up holding most of the system for me. I came in today, and the rep at the service desk, Jane, was even more helpful and patient. She helped me select further options, assembled everything for me, then assembled everything *again* when the first product was a few inches off. She was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough, making what could have been a very long and involved process a lot of fun. The whole crew was crazy friendly, and the experience was what I've come to expect from this cult-worthy institution. Thanks a lot, Norwalk REI friends! See y'all again soon!"
