"We stumbled upon this place a few years ago. Unfortunately, I had to give Mokondo's a 3 star this time even though the empanadas are amazing! We'll definitely come back for the empanadas and sauces. Unfortunately, this time around when we dined in, our dinner was brought out in less than 5 minutes. The beans were cold, the rice, steak and sausage was luke warm. Very disappointed and not up to our standards for Columbian food. Usually places we go to make everything fresh and hot...which makes it worth the wait."

"First time eating Colombian food and it was amazing! Very flavorful, and the wait staff was personable. It’s not really a dress-up place (we didn’t know). The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, and just overall was a great experience. I got tilapia with seafood sauce, my partner got something from the “typical” section of the menu that has beef, sausage, and pork, and appetizer of empanadas and cheese corn bread. Huge portions so we have food for at least another full meal."

"The food was good... the service, well it was good but the lady was a bit pushy in terms of coming every 5 min to ask if everything was ok and to take the order. I appreciate good customer service but it was a bit too much to my liking. We might order to go next time. However, the food was amazing and they were very generous."
