"I would not stay here again nor recommend due to unbelievablly loud apartments, they failed miserably at the insulation. Additionally, weed smells permeated from different apartments and increased over my time their. The apartments are spacious, some updated most are not. The last 2 I stayed in due to moving because of increased rent and noise---- had white appliances. The pool is cute, but it is extremely tiny and people do not tell the kids to respect others. There are all types of dog breeds that are allowed here... German Shepherd's used to almost attack people coming off the elevator and the entrances smells like urine in the last year that I stayed there. People must have been letting their dogs urinate in the hallways. I had to move from my apartment twice within a month of trying different units there because people stomping on the ceilings and NOISE-... nothing was done about it and I wasted so much money which I am still recouping and recovering from. I remember the first week I moved there I had to leave the apartment due to the neighbor bouncing basketballs on wood floors and stomping with guest from Sun- up to sundown- it was so bad I even heard their conversations, that's how poor the insulation is here..... and they offered to let me out of the lease or move to another apartment. There was no way I was willing to find somewhere else to live and come up with ANOTHER security deposit. I moved to another one of their units (had to pay movers AGAIN) $$$ and I remember how cold the office manager was, she didn't make eye contact or care when I moved and I had to make another payment for rent and they did not even give me my security dep. back, but asked me for two rents essentially within a MONTH to transfer!! I did not get my deposit back on two occasions and they had the nerve to tell me I had a balance when I moved for good. I had no peace during the entire pandemic because of the noise coming from the upstairs apartment. The very first day I moved in there I had to call the police because the neighbor was working out in her kitchen throwing weights on the floor... all of their apartments are like this. I think it's disgusting how these properties get away with this and they really don't offer you much, but they will take your money and drain you. We are in the middle of a pandemic and they have the audacity to send me a balance when they should have maintained the apartment before I got there. It was outdated..the stove was old, and all white appliances at luxury prices is an absolute NO..... ultimately living here drained me financially and made me so sad I wish I had looked around more. I think you can do much better with some apartments up the road in Middletown a town over. I am FINALLY happy and getting what I pay for.."

"We've lived at Alvista Willow Brook for the past 2 years and haven't found a thing to be unhappy about. We have a nice spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse with attached garage. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a washer/dryer. Gas fireplace is especially nice in the fall and winter. Two balconies to enjoy. Grounds are well kept. Pet friendly. Nice pool and grill area. Fitness center and clubhouse. Due to covid we've had reduced hours for amenities for now, but staff has followed covid precautions everywhere. Great maintenance staff, any service requests are handled immediately. Office staff, Sara and Marika are so friendly, professional, and always making sure your happy here. I can't imagine living anywhere else!"

"I lived at Alvista for a year. I loved it. The staff is nice and on top of things. I have lived in other complexes where if you had a problem it took days for maintenance to come. Whenever there was issue it was resolved ASAP. I moved because I bought a house. This was the best apartment. I miss it . I am glad that I had this experience. I would rent here if I had to rent again."

"New to Meriden. Everyone at the office seems to be very nice especially Marika. She’s helpful and with a great smile. The maintenance team so far so good and friendly. I’m not very happy with the amount of traffic and people driving like maniacs on Pomeroy ave. I can hear every car speeding down the road. At times it’s very hard to find a parking. Overall it’s a beautiful complex."

"I moved out to CT for work in November 17'. I am adamant about living somewhere that feels like you are truly coming "home" and has a washer/dryer in the apartment. Additionally, I wanted to live close to my facility off of research parkway and this apartment complex was the nicest around by far. I have not been let down and I have personally found that the staff is extremely helpful. I have only had small issues over the course of the past year, but each time the staff has went out of their way to assist, even if it didn't benefit them personally. All I can say is thank you for the past year and everything you have done to help me out!"
