"TERRIBLE experience. Stayed for a wedding, checked in 11/3 and out 11/6. On 11/7 (day after checkout) my CC was charged $79.20, and then on 11/8 it was charged $30.55 twice-- so a total of $140.30 in charges. We aren't local to CT so I had to call them instead of going in person to ask what the charges were about. The first time I called I was met with "I haven't worked the front desk in awhile so I'll have the guy who was working the desk when you were here call you back"-- I waited 3 days and didn't get a phonecall. I called again, and was told the same. 3rd time I called, I was told they'll refund me the $79.20 but that's it-- they insisted we extended our stay. I said I have my boarding passes to prove I was not in CT, nor did I extend my stay, and only then did they agree to refund me the full amount. They told me it would post in 24-36 hours. Well, 3 more business days went by and I still had no refund, so I called again. Was told they refunded it to a CC ending in "xyz"-- that I don't own. Then he backtracked and read my actual CC number to me and told me that's the one they refunded it to. I said listen dude, this is now the FOURTH time I've called you guys, and I still have no refund. Nothing was refunded. I was met with "call your bank then". I ended up having to call Chase bank to dispute the charges, which is ongoing as of now. 0/10 recommend giving them your business. And while I'm at it, we had no hot water our entire stay."

"Just attended a multi-day convention here. The rooms were extremely spacious, clean with up to date bathrooms. The front desk was always staffed by someone happy and helpful. Terrific accommodations for the price and surrounded by several small restaurants, all while being right off the highway. I can’t imagine a better value for a hotel stay in Connecticut than this one. Book with confidence."

"There was two moldy ceiling tiles in the hallway. The room was okay. The bed top sheet was dirty, so were the other sheets hair on them. Pulled them off to find a stained mattress pad. Not acceptable for a hotel! You expect a clean bed when you are charged any amount of money. Shame on your housekeeper and shame on their supervisor! Do not recommend!!!!!!!"

"I think this Hotel once was big and people used to come here more often satisfied. Nowadays I think this Hotel is a little bit cracked here and there, wouldn't take a bath just a shower, but in my opinion it's still standing great. If you're a traveler and you travel trough, it's a good place to stop and sleep some. Our room was clean. Me and my partner arrived late at night (around 1am) and our check in took about 6 mins. The staff was nice and kind, explained everything. We used this nice smelling shampoo and received refilling when we asked from the reception. We got breakfast with the room. First time trying waffles in America! :) Thank you!"

"I want to start off with a positive: the staff were extremely friendly. They're the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Everything else was a mess. Our room wasn't clean. The TV remote was disgusting with caked on bits of whatever sitting between the buttons. There was a huge crack in our bathroom sink. By the beds were mysterious white stains on the floor. Since we arrived late and were tired we didn't check the rest of the cleanliness, but woke up to find multiple stains all over our comforter and sheets. Went to take a shower to find hair in the tub. Breakfast was meh. Not great but not the worst. The eggs were incredibly greasy and the sausage provided was grey. There were no individual cartons of milk to use for the cereal and you had to use a communal jug. I can't say I'm usually a stickler about things but waking up to several large brown stains on the comforter just ain't it. I'm glad we only had it for one night and we will not be back."
