"New management is working hard to renovate and improve the property, but it's had many years of neglect. Excellent service despite the challenges. Employees were pleasant and helpful. It's cheaper than many hotels in the area and was less than 10 minutes from the event venue. Has all the necessities in the room: working AC, decent water pressure for the shower, hot water, coffeemaker, microwave, mini fridge with freezer box, tv, safe, desk, clean bedding."

"Room was dirty. I went to use the microwave and there was food in from previous tenant. There was hair in the shower drain. There was tin foil and a pair of mens underwear wrapped over the smoke alarm. They were smoking in a non smoking room and was worried about setting off the alarm. Had to ring bell fir service. The worker lives up stairs and was always in his room. We stayed there because it was a little cheaper. I wouldn't go back if it was free."

"Friendly and quick desk, they upgraded us to a huge king room. No smell, bed was great, and it was very clean. We use "budget" hotels often, this is the nicest room we've gotten at this price point. The walls are thin, otherwise I genuinely could not ask for more."

"They are trying! Current remodel happening but the new room was a great place to sleep especially for the price in CT. Hotel was quiet, bed comfy with nice sheets and a new white cotton bedspread, new carpet, fridge and microwave. Tub is still original but it was clean."

"I would've stayed here had it not been for the fact that staff couldn't be bothered to answer the desk when I arrived. Rang the bell and called the desk several times. Desk closed at 11pm and I arrived at 5 pm. No staff in sight. Waited 30 minutes before giving up and going to Motel 6 around the corner. Much better service and very clean rooms and friendly staff. At least there the staff was present. Don't bother with this hotel."
