"Me and my wife stayed at this hotel 2 times in the past month and we had a great experience! There is plenty of parking, and kind hosts for front desk check in. Upon staying the first time we fell in love with the jacuzzi that prompted us to book another visit. Upon arriving the second time we found out that the jacuzzi was out of service. It was a major downer for us and enough to deduct a star because that to us is the major attraction. I guess we should call ahead next time! There is a restaurant downstairs that is open late for drinks, a concession stand by the front desk that is well priced (shocking), and an amazing sushi and cafe just across the street walking distance. All in all we probably will return here for a quick getaway as it is perfect for when you want to leave NYC."

"The hotel has a huge space, has a hot and cold pool. Clean rooms and good service. At the bottom there is a beautiful river. I liked the place. I will be back more often!!!"

"Just had my wedding in the Timbers Room! the most amazing staff!!! From the moment we decided to book Jennifer was amazing to work with answered immediately whenever we had any questions no matter how annoying! Attentive and caring with every detail. Not to mention the food and service was AMAZING. Every request or question we had the day of our wedding was answered and done in no time. We were in the absolute best hands and felt no stress or worry on our wedding day. Having the ability for our guests to party with us at our wedding, head across the hall to the Tavern to party more to having the luxury of walking right up to their room when the night was over was a huge plus!"

"Attended a wedding here recently so I can not speak to room quality, but the venues and staff were all so good that I had to post. Wedding occurred in garden room, light bright airy, plenty of seating, big enough space but still intimate. Across hall was cocktail hour, bar set up servers coming around with hors d’oeuvres continually. Followed by dinner/reception in a lively big vaulted space, beautiful beams, rustic chandeliers etc. food was buffet in another adjoining room, all servers very pleasant and trays being replaced continually. Wanted to shout out to woman who was a housekeeper/manager I believe , I asked where the coat rack was when I arrived for the wedding, I was first to arrive, never happens, she immediately had two gentleman bring several from elsewhere, and she thanked me for asking because it was torrential raining out and weather had been so mild that they hadn’t brought racks down for season yet! Lovely experience over all, easy to find miles off state highway 84."

"We had a truly relaxing time on their beautiful grounds. Worked out I'm the fully equipped exercise room. Indoor and outdoor pools. What makes this place really special is its dated decor. It brings u down memory lane to a time when the world was at a much slower pace."
