At our Avondale Training Centre, conveniently situated next to Avondale Train Station and with bus stops just a 2-minute walk away, we offer a range of training services for residents across various suburbs, including Wanganui, Patea, Waverley, Turakina, Whangaehu, and Marton.

Our training takes place in the spacious Tairangi School hall, providing ample off-street parking and winter heating for your comfort. We also have outdoor areas available, allowing us to diversify our training routines.

Shaolin Kung Fu is an art with a rich lineage dating back to the Shaolin temple in Northern China, where it originated with Bodhidharma and the Shaolin monks. Over the course of 1500 years, Shaolin Kung Fu evolved and gave rise to various styles. Our tradition traces back to Seh Koh San, a monk from the Southern Shaolin tradition in Fujian, and the esteemed Chief Abbot of Siong Lim temple in Singapore.

We cater to individuals of all ages, with training programs designed for PeeWee (4-6 years), Children (7-12 years), and Teen/Adult (13 years and above) age groups. Our Johnsonville NPC venue offers a spacious training area, both indoors and outdoors, serving residents from Newtown, Brooklyn, Wellington Central, Kelburn, Kilbirnie, Berhampore, Island Bay, and Lyall Bay.
