Our founder, Annaliese, is a highly qualified pilates instructor, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. Originally from the UK, she has pursued certifications in various fitness disciplines, including kickboxing, barre, suspension training, spin, rehabilitation, and personal training. Throughout her career, Annaliese has worked with a diverse range of clients, including athletes, new mothers, sports teams, and rehabilitative clients.
With her patient, fun, and compassionate teaching style, Annaliese is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their personal goals through correct form and technique. She believes in the integration of body, breath, and movement to promote overall health and well-being.

"I have been attending My Bodyworks Pilates and Fitness classes for a couple of years now and I can't praise Annaliese enough. She is a highly skilled teacher who gives clear, easy to follow instructions. Each class is different and all parts of our bodies are addressed. I love Annaliese's positivity and encouragement, especially during challenging exercises. We laugh and have fun together. Another of Annaliese's strength is that each class caters for all abilities. She always gives an adaptation to each exercise to prevent injuries and also to ensure ongoing progress for those who need additional challenges. Over the years I have noticed a marked increase in my core strength and flexibility. During summer 2021/22 Annaliese started offering outdoor classes which I particularly liked as listening to bird song, feeling the sun and breathing fresh air added a sensory experience to our classes. I highly recommend giving My Bodyworks a go. I'm sure you will get hooked like the rest of us!"

"I have been training with Anneliese for over a year now and don't think I have ever been fitter in my life or had a stronger core. Anneliese makes hard work fun. She works the whole body systematically and creatively, so no class is the same. Strength work is hard but always paired with release and stretch, preventing injury. Which means you will want to go back for more. I started out with one class per week and was up to three weekly classes by the end of the year. Can't recommend Anneliese's classes highly enough."
