Founded in 2015 by Dai Jun, a Bronze Medallist from the London Olympics 2012, Aqua Artist Swim School brings a fresh approach to swimming education. We believe that learning to swim correctly requires not only good instructions but also ample practice. That's why we have introduced two major changes to the industry: Dryland Training and Longer Class Duration.

Our Dryland Training allows students to learn and master the correct skills on dry land before diving into the water. This unique approach ensures that students develop the correct muscle memory and technique, setting them up for success in the pool. With longer class durations, our students have more time to practice and refine their skills, leading to faster progress and improvement.

Over the years, Aqua Artist Swim School has established a sterling reputation in the industry, thanks to our professional teaching system and high standard management. Our innovative teaching philosophy and effective teaching system have made a profound impact on over 5000 students. Dai Jun, born into a swimming family, started swimming at a young age and went on to qualify for the Chinese National Team at the age of 13. After retiring from professional swimming, he relocated to New Zealand and embarked on a new role as a swimming teacher. Drawing on his years of training and teaching experience, Dai Jun developed an effective learning program, leading to the establishment of Aqua Artist Swim School in 2015.

At Aqua Artist Swim School - East Tamaki, all our instructors are fully trained and highly motivated. We keep our class sizes limited to ensure that each student receives maximum attention and guidance from their instructor. Classes are scheduled according to school terms and holidays, with durations ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. Students are assessed throughout their learning journey, and as soon as they meet the criteria, they are moved up to the next level during the term.

While Aqua Artist Swim School is an Asian swimming school, welcoming students of all backgrounds, the majority of our students are Asian. Our manager, Kent, is Asian and fluent in English, ensuring effective communication with all our students and parents. Our swimming school is based inside the Mt Albert Aquatics Center, providing a convenient and well-equipped facility for our classes.
