Welcome to Wentworth College & Primary, an outstanding educational institution located at 65 Gulf Harbour Drive in Auckland, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we take pride in offering a top-notch education to our students.

We offer a wide range of academic programs, including our Year 8 students' study of Gothic Horror in English. This engaging curriculum involves exploring the features, characters, and settings of gothic horror, as well as delving into the life and times of Mary Shelley and studying the play 'Frankenstein'.

Unfortunately, we recently experienced flooding, which resulted in the closure of Wentworth Primary School until further notice. We are actively working to address the damage and restore normal operations as soon as possible.

In addition to our academic focus, we also emphasize the importance of real-world learning experiences. For example, our Year 8 students have been learning about the significance of water, both in New Zealand and internationally. They have had hands-on opportunities to assess water quality through Waicare tests conducted in the stream near our school.

We understand the importance of safety, especially in challenging weather conditions. As such, we make careful decisions regarding school closures based on weather reports and the well-being of our students and staff.

Despite the disruptions caused by weather events and lockdowns, our students have consistently excelled in their Cambridge examinations. We are proud to announce that 97% of our Year 13 leavers gained New Zealand University Entrance, showcasing our commitment to academic excellence.

Furthermore, we encourage our students to develop a global perspective. Our Global Perspective students in Year 8 and Year 9 transform our school playground into a market place during the Christmas season, applying their knowledge of marketing principles. This hands-on project allows them to explore product, price, promotion, and place in a practical and exciting way.
