Welcome to BestStart Seymour Road Kindy, located in the vibrant city of Auckland, New Zealand. At BestStart Seymour Road Kindy, we have a multicultural teaching team who are passionate about your child's learning. They are experienced and qualified in Early Childhood Education and are committed to providing quality learning opportunities for all children in our care. We work closely with families and local agencies to ensure that your child receives the very best care and early education.

Our indoor learning spaces are open-plan and designed with designated curriculum areas, allowing children to learn specific skills through age-appropriate resources. We have a wide range of resources and equipment that are specifically chosen to encourage and support children's learning and development.

Outside, our children are encouraged to actively explore the wonderful natural environment. We have a large outdoor playground area that invites exploration and inquisitiveness, while also encouraging social skills and tuakana-teina relationships. Our children can engage in water play, sand play, and even learn about seasonal vegetables in our vegetable garden.

In addition, we have a separate dining room where children eat together as a group, promoting a sense of community and encouraging home routines. We also have a large deck area that is great for the winter months.

Our biggest strength is the positive, supportive, and inclusive environment where tuākana/tēina and respectful relationships are important. We also organize various events and activities to enhance the learning experiences of our tamariki. For example, we recently had a sports event where most of our children participated and performed their best. We also invited Sarah from Watercare Services to teach our tamariki about water conservation and how water comes to our homes.
