Russian Orthodox School

Welcome to the Russian Orthodox School, located at 55 Meadowood Drive, Auckland. Our institution is dedicated to preserving the Russian Orthodox heritage, including faith, language, and culture. Prayer, studying the Word of God, and following Orthodox traditions are integral parts of our daily life.

At our school, we believe in fostering friendships that extend beyond the classroom. That's why we organize an annual summer camp, where children can bond and create lasting memories together.

We prioritize the well-being of our students, ensuring they spend over 4 hours at school each day. Additionally, hot lunches are provided to ensure they are nourished and energized throughout the day.

In 2008, with the blessing of the dean of New Zealand, Archpriest Vladimir Boykov, the Russian Orthodox Educational Institute, or Russian Orthodox School, was established as a non-profit educational institution. For 7 years, it was led by Father Evgeny Kulanov. From 2016 to 2018, Father Alexander Skorik took over as the head, and in 2019, the position of director was abolished. Since then, the school has been managed by a council under the guidance of Archpriest Vladimir Boykov, with administrative processes overseen by Alena Alexandrovna Ivanova.
