Our Music department has been achieving remarkable success lately. The Nota Bella Junior Choir was recently awarded the prestigious Tui (Gold) at NZCF. Additionally, our year 10 student, Amaya Tan-Peters, has been pushing her limits in the Auckland College Rock Climbing circuit and emerged as the 1st overall winner in the series.

Westlake Girls also excels in basketball, with our high-flying players being scouted in America after their selection for the NBA Basketball camp in Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, our swimmers shone at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championship in Wellington, bringing home an impressive medal haul.

Apart from these achievements, we focus on preparing our students for life beyond school. We offer STEAM subjects to widen their career options and break gender stereotypes in technical and non-traditional jobs. Our Year 9 students can join our enriching programme, which includes coding, electronics, design technology, 3D modeling, as well as projects in Science, Mathematics, English, and Social Studies.
