Welcome to Rangeview Intermediate School, located in the vibrant city of Auckland, New Zealand. As an esteemed establishment and point of interest in the community, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students.

We are delighted to introduce our new Tumuaki (Principal), Jesmond Filipo, who will be joining our Whānau (family) from Term 3, 2023. With a deep commitment to the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students, Mr. Filipo aims to foster a love for learning while instilling qualities such as confidence, resilience, and respect for others. Together, we will prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Being a true "Westie," Mr. Filipo understands the aspirations and dreams of our whānau and aiga (extended family). He recognizes the importance of supporting and empowering our community to achieve success. Outside of education, Mr. Filipo has a passion for family, sport, and food, often spending his free time engaging in these activities with his whānau.

By working closely with our students, teachers, staff, and families, we aim to create an inclusive and supportive school environment where every individual can thrive and celebrate their achievements.

Established in 1968 to cater to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils, Rangeview Intermediate School has always been known for its emphasis on achievement, high standards of academic and sporting excellence, and its beautiful garden environment. Our students come from all over West Auckland, contributing to the diverse and enriching atmosphere of our school.

We invite you to drop by and explore our campus, collect a prospectus, and enroll your child. Please remember to bring a Birth Certificate or Passport, Immunisation Record, and proof of address if you reside within our zone.

Our term dates for 2023 are as follows:

- Term 1: Tuesday 31st January – Thursday 6th April

- Term 3: Monday 17th July – Friday 22nd September

- Term 4: Monday 9th October – Tuesday 19th December
