"The school doesn’t do anything about bullying little Franky and his band of thugs"
"Peoplewise, the school is amazing. I met many people here but sadly i've lost contact with them. Sporting opportunities are good but i'd like to see it open up to a wider range of students, rather than the "best at everything". Downside is some of the teachers and leadership. Jacob Prisk, you walk around the school very often, but when you are doing some mahi? All talking no doing I guess. I don't think the high vis and sunglasses cut it. Many teachers cared for your learning and made it enjoyable. Some would care more than others, but thats out of our control. I do believe this school could be fair across the board with some things. During my time at the school, some girl that disliked me made up a story to get me in trouble for bullying her. I was not allowed to share my side and I was only called in to the office to get in trouble?? Facilities. The facilities are amazing. It's great for people who want to advance academically and with sports. Huge gym, field, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Great opportunities at this school and would recommend as long as you don't mind putting up with the rare bad teacher."
"I was really excited at first, but then I realized how bad the bullying problem is. It isn't great, it goes around alot. Definitely a sporty school, but bit of the lower side of learning. Mr. Masters is great though. Just not good on the learning side and the bullying side. I don't really recommend the school if you wanna learn, but I do if you are a sporty person. Just too many bullies, see them everywhere doing anything at any time."
"I was excited when I first arrived at this geis, but after the first term of year 7, I had discovered out the true nature of the school. First, they divided us into four "little schools," which contributed to unnecessary hatred among people. As a result of this rash student division, I lost a few acquaintances. That is my first criticism about this school, but I have a second. Some Geis teachers are fantastic and supportive, but the most are bad at really providing us information (Mis Tubert is an amazing teacher). I've experienced blatant discrimination, such as the day I went to sports camp with a friend. To a teacher in order for us to receive inform passes, he had no note and no explanation for why he didn't have it. I had a memo, and he was warned calmly "not to do it again," but when I was treated like a bad person I was interrogated as if I were a horrible person. And if you get sick or damage yourself, the extremely harsh and disrespectful nurse will treat you like a helpless little kid. Overall, this school is great for kids that excel at sports, but if you want to learn, look for a different school."
"My time at G.E.I.S was a good one. The school had great facilities and was well funded. The teachers I had experience with were all competent and friendly. I see the school is constantly getting upgraded and improved so its definitely not run-down. Its great to have such a school in the community."
