Marist School Mount Albert

Welcome to Marist School, Mt Albert, a caring and inclusive community located in Auckland, New Zealand. Our institution has a proud history and tradition, deeply rooted in the Spirit of Mary and founded by the Marist Sisters. Since our establishment in 1927, we have been dedicated to providing quality education and nurturing young minds. In fact, we are eagerly looking forward to celebrating our centenary in 2027.

At Marist School, we embrace and celebrate cultural diversity, with a roll of approximately 330 students ranging from School Entry to Year 6. Our central Auckland location and easy motorway access attract students from a wide geographic catchment. Our Marist whānau (family) is known for their strong connections and warm welcome to all.

Our teaching and learning take place in an Innovative Learning Environment (ILE), where we strive to educate the whole child spiritually, intellectually, morally, emotionally, physically, and socially. We firmly believe in recognizing and nurturing each child's unique gifts and talents. Through an engaging and innovative curriculum, we empower our students to become faith-filled, confident, and creative learners.

Nestled in the well-established residential areas at the base of Mt. Albert, our school has long been at the heart of Mt Albert's Catholic and wider community. In fact, we are located next door to both Marist College and St. Mary's Church, further strengthening our ties to the community.
