Titirangi Kindergarten

Welcome to Titirangi Kindergarten, a place where working together and building respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and our community is our top priority. Located in Auckland on Woodlands Park Road, we are an establishment that is dedicated to providing the very best support for our tamariki.

Our skilled teaching team is experienced, stable, and 100% qualified. We love being part of our special kindergarten community and recognize that every child is unique. With our expertise and knowledge, we are able to support each child with their individual learning and development needs. Additionally, all our teachers are trained in the behavior management program, The Incredible Years.

At Titirangi Kindergarten, tamariki are encouraged to take an active role in their learning. Through meaningful play experiences, they make discoveries, set new challenges, and effectively communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

We also have a strong environmental focus and are proud participants in the nationwide Enviroschools program. Respecting and caring for our environment is of utmost importance to us, and we encourage tamariki to think and act as guardians of our planet. As an Enviroschool, we have achieved Silver status and provide an inclusive, rich, stimulating, challenging, and sustainable learning environment for our tamariki.

Our commitment to biculturalism is evident in our practice. We acknowledge Māori as Tangata Whenua and are dedicated to strengthening our community's understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi. Whakawhanaungatanga, the building of relationships, and the concepts of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga are the foundation of our inclusive and collaborative partnerships.

While our South Titirangi Road site undergoes remediation work following the impact of the February floods, we have made Woodlands Park School our temporary home. Here, tamariki continue to flourish, our learning community continues to grow, and our friendly teaching team continues to nurture and inspire.

We welcome enquiries and invite you to visit us at 202 Woodlands Park Road. When we moved into the area, Titirangi Kindergarten stood out to us as a great place to send our kids. The passionate and engaged team of teachers and the extensive outdoor play area for the kids to explore were major factors in our decision. And we haven't been disappointed! Our kids are happy, thriving, and have all the fundamental building blocks for a great start to school.

At Titirangi Kindergarten, we value and foster meaningful and connected relationships through respect and care. We support children in becoming socially competent and encourage them to explore resources and learning opportunities to deepen their own learning.

Cultural diversity is also celebrated here. Our teachers affirm and support the retention and use of children's home languages, adding depth to their cultural identities.

Our kindergarten hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, and our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:45 pm. We are closed during term breaks and public holidays.
