Scott Point School

Welcome to Scott Point School, a brand new establishment located in Hobsonville, Auckland. Since our opening in February 2021, we have been dedicated to providing a quality education to our students.

Initially housed in a temporary campus, we are thrilled to announce that we have recently moved to our permanent buildings at 11 Scott Road on the 7th of June 2022. As our school roll continues to grow, we are committed to constructing additional learning spaces to accommodate the increasing number of students.

At Scott Point School, we offer modern learning environments that cater to all learning styles. Our large learning spaces are designed to facilitate collaboration, with 3-4 classes working together in teams. This collaborative approach fosters a sense of community and encourages students to learn from and support one another.

We pride ourselves on our teaching methods, which include structured literacy and the Prime maths program. By implementing these evidence-based approaches, we ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success. Moreover, we maintain high standards of expectations for both learning and behavior, creating a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Our curriculum is centered around the Scott Point School's areas of Inquiry: Project Based, Problem Based, Design Based, and Experiential. Within each area, our students are guided by four principles: Wonder, Explore, Navigate, and Seek. This inquiry-based approach encourages critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity, empowering our students to become lifelong learners.
