Welcome to Kaukapakapa School, a vibrant and innovative institution located on the beautiful Kaipara Coast Highway in New Zealand. Situated on land owned by Ngāti Whatua, we have strong ties to the five Kaipara marae of Araparera, Kakanui, Puatahi, Haranui, and Reweti. Our rich history dates back to 1869 when the school was first established by European settlers, opening its doors to 17 eager pupils in 1873.

Today, Kaukapakapa School is a modern and forward-thinking establishment catering to approximately 310 students from Year 1 to Year 8. While we cherish the significant history that surrounds us, we are equally excited about equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the future. Guided by the New Zealand Curriculum, we offer excellent learning opportunities across a wide range of subjects.
