"I did the Film Training Package course at night with Daniel Guerra as my main tutor. Daniel is an excellent teacher. He is knowledgeable and passionate about the filmmaking process. I definitely learned a lot from him and enjoyed every minute of the class which was vast covering pre-production, principle photography and post-production. I feel a lot more confident now as filmmaker and have many of the building blocks to continually develop my skillset within the industry going forward. Katy Brownlee also taught a few days as well during the course, and she was really amazing too. Both tutors showed that they cared about students and their development a lot so I'm really grateful for the course. I would definitely recommend this South Seas as a great film school to learn."
"I studied the level 6 Diploma in Digital Photography. Enjoyed first months until I fell extremely sick mid way through became very truent but was not supported through such a hard time. Tutor spoke more about being vegan than he did Photography and is far too sarcastic. I would 100% recommend finding else where to study. Fiona and Allan were absolutely lovely tutors but believe they are no longer working there. Finally after 7 months have received my grades and was absolutely angry with the comment he made.. Was only 2 lines with no meaning and honestly was expecting alot more written down for the length it took them to get out. If they couldn't understand my circumstances from the start, I don't see why I have to understand theirs. I think over half a year is pathetic amount of time to get a transcript out no matter what the situation! Especially when they expected assignments in on time. Who paid for the education?Ridiculous. This course is enough to turn you off what you want to do, it's not the work that will, it's the support you won't get."
"Did the acting course in 2016. Mia and Johnny were absolutely dreadful, having no idea what they were teaching. Mia was also a vile person who took pleasure in making herself feel superior to you- not a good trait for the school counselor. The singing teacher also left after 3 weeks of teaching, mulling the subject which was covered up by giving everyone a B for the paper. Overall, this course ruined my passion for acting and I've never looked back."
"Studied at South Seas for 2 years doing their Animation course and I couldn't be happier with the facilities. The school is amazing and the staff are all fantastic and friendly. Joining South Seas was like gaining a second family and it was an incredible experience."
