The Homestead Early Learning Centre

Welcome to The Homestead Early Learning Centre, located at Helensville, State Highway 16, 2395. Our establishment is a beautiful 120-year-old villa that has been modernized and converted into an amazing Early Learning Centre. With two separate cottages for our pre-schoolers and a huge fenced playground with a country feel, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

At our centre, we cater to infants from 3 months to 2 years in our Nursery room. Taking inspiration from the RIE philosophy, we focus on respectful education and care. Our environment is filled with natural resources to encourage your baby to explore, learn, and develop.

As a Reggio-inspired centre, we emphasize hands-on discovery using natural open-ended materials. We foster an environment that encourages self-expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving. Our dedicated teachers provide age-appropriate equipment to support the physical growth and independence of our growing toddlers.

The Cottage is home to our young children aged 3.5-6 years. Here, children are empowered to solve problems, seek challenges, and engage in longer-term projects. Our teachers support them in developing key self-help and social skills, extending emotional intelligence, and building relationships.
