Our environment at Sunnyvale Kindergarten is designed to provide a welcoming and stimulating space for children to explore, create, and learn how to get along with others. Our spacious and well-resourced indoor area, as well as our amazing outdoor space, provide endless opportunities for our tamariki to engage in meaningful learning experiences.

We strongly believe in the power of play-based learning. It is our priority to ensure that children have fun at kindergarten while developing confidence in themselves. By allowing children the time, environment, and support to unfold naturally, they are able to not only learn academic concepts but also develop essential life skills such as resilience, problem-solving, and independence.

At Sunnyvale Kindergarten, we provide ample space for children to explore and learn. Our tamariki are encouraged to utilize every corner of the kindergarten, both indoors and outdoors. From our gardens and wooded areas to the busy art spaces, sandpit, and vegetable garden, all areas are available for them to discover and grow. Outdoors, they learn to work together, build their muscles, and develop problem-solving skills through our wide range of equipment.

Our team at Sunnyvale Kindergarten is comprised of friendly and multicultural professionals who reflect our community and whanau. As qualified early childhood education teachers, we actively encourage respectful communication, providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children. We work hand in hand with whānau and our community, ensuring that every child's hopes and dreams are realized.

In addition to our quality education, we also offer convenient kindergarten and office hours. Our kindergarten operates from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, while our office is open from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:45 pm. Please note that we are closed during term breaks and public holidays.
