Oaktree Kindergarten

Welcome to Oaktree Kindergarten, located at Palliser Lane, Auckland, New Zealand. As a well-established establishment and point of interest in Browns Bay, we are proud to offer a high-quality educational program for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Our fully qualified teaching team is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

At Oaktree Kindergarten, we believe in the importance of building strong relationships with both children and their families/whānau. We operate with an open door policy, welcoming families to visit us at any time. Our goal is to ensure that when children leave our kindergarten and transition to primary school, they are confident, competent, and lifelong learners ready to embrace their next educational journey.

Our educational practice is guided by the principles of Te Whāriki, the Early Childhood Curriculum, as well as the principles of Enviroschool and education for sustainability. We are well-known in our community for the high-quality service we provide, as well as our strong community approach. We embrace diversity and culture, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Our kindergarten boasts a beautiful, joyful, and stimulating environment that nurtures and empowers children. Through our play-based curriculum, children have opportunities for discovery, wonder, exploration, and interaction. Our outdoor area is particularly admired for its size, layout, natural aspects, and physical challenges it offers children. It reflects the uniqueness of Aotearoa New Zealand, representing our bicultural curriculum that values and encompasses our multicultural community.

In addition to our educational offerings, we also provide a 2023 calendar outlining our term dates. Term 3 runs from 17th July to 22nd September, and Term 4 from 9th October to 20th December.
